Come along and join us for a NEW monthly conversation about BIG TOPICS, hosted by Robert Wood, writer and Director at the Centre for Stories.
In this series of talks (pencil in the first Wednesday of each Month), Robbie chats with people from all walks of life who are experts in their respective fields. The conversations will look at refugees, human rights, conflict, and more. The series will entertain, educate and inform you about some of the huge topics impacting us all today.
For the first Peace and Politics, we welcome award winning writer Hessom Razavi for a conversation all about refugees. Robbie and Hessom will discuss the issues facing us today and will look at human rights, community policy, and freedom of expression in Australia.
This conversation will uplift you, make you think and challenge you to act, all with an eye on how we might make life better.
Doors from 5pm (happy hour until 6pm) for a 6:15pm start. Stay after the talk to continue the conversation over dinner.
RSVP your place for the conversation, (LF Members are free, non-member tickets are $10).
