Portia Rose
A Boorloo-based soundscape artist, radio host, and selector - you may have heard her voice woven through spoken word soundscapes in galleries and warehouse spaces, or hosting RTRFM’s Golden Apples of the Sun. Her sets carry the same thread: considered, immersive, and always moving somewhere. When she’s not performing live or behind the decks at her favourite bars and events, she’s finding the sounds that sit just right between a quiet room and a full one.
Frames Per Second
Predominantly mixing progressive house and techno, Jordan (Frames Per Second) enjoys adapting many genres of sound and tempo to curate and shape the environment he is in.
Naathara
Nathaara will be leaning into a softer pocket of sound for this edition of Chess Club, veering away from bass heavy cuts into rhythm centred and warm neo-soul, R&B and laid back tracks across genres. With a set complete with smooth textures and nostalgic selections, expect a slow cruise into the end of the night, with a bit of a punch to them as always.
