'How to design for the end of a world as we know it'
This interactive “fishbowl” discussion, led by some of Perth’s leading changemakers, explores the evolving and influential role of design and designers in reshaping the world during this pivotal moment.
Drawing on insights and lived experiences from systemic design, transition design, and beyond, the event poses the audience with a provocation: Yes, the world as we know it is ending. But in its place, new worlds—spanning industries, sectors, and scales—are waiting to be designed.
Helping you work out how to unlock your potential to be useful in these trying times will be:
- Andrew Thomson, Founder of Holonic and acting CEO of WA+
- Matt Berry, Better Climate manager at the Conservation Council of WA
- Joni Sercombe, Innovation Design Manager at Anglicare WA
- Meri Fatin, interviewer, broadcaster, and founder of WA Climate Leaders
