For July Wine Club, Emma welcomes special guests Skye Salter & Charlie Septet, co-founders and winemakers of Paralian — one of McLaren Vale's most exciting modern producers.
Derived from the ancient Greek for "one who lives by the sea," Paralian is built on a simple philosophy: let the vineyard speak. Working with carefully chosen sites across McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills, Skye and her husband Charlie Seppelt craft small-batch wines that prize site, season and restraint over intervention.
The project may have launched only a few years ago, but it has quickly earned a reputation far beyond its size — recognised as a Halliday Top New Winery finalist, Young Gun of Wine finalist, and praised for wines that are bright, precise and unmistakably expressive of place.
Join Emma, Skye, and Charlie as they taste through the Paralian range and explore why some of Australia's most compelling wines begin with knowing exactly where you're standing.
